David specialises in the resolution of international insurance coverage disputes. He is a leader in the field of the London and International Insurance Markets, in particular Lloyd’s of London, Equitas and the Companies’ Market. A creative and strategic negotiator and tactician, his approach has led to commercial insurance settlements with a value in excess of £1 billion.

David has significant experience in resolving insurance claims involving environmental pollution, products liability, business interruption, property damage and terrorism. David’s clients include Fortune 500 companies and multinational corporations based in the US, Canada, Europe Australia and the Caribbean.

As an advocate he combines his analytical skills and depth of legal knowledge to create effective resolution of a wide range of commercial cases through litigation arbitration and mediation. He is the author of several insurance publications and a regular speaker at the American Bar Association conferences. David was educated at King’s College, London and Jesus College, Cambridge.
