
Daniel has been a tenant at 4KBW since November 2005. He enjoys a general common law practice. He undertakes the full range of criminal work, including trials, sentencing, applications to stay proceedings and exclude bad character. In 2007, he obtained CPS grading and has been selected as a VHCC panel advocate.
He has nurtured a growing civil practice and is instructed in a variety of areas, including personal injury (numerous infant settlements), insolvency and commercial work. Additionally, he undertakes immigration appeals, housing possession hearings and parole board cases.
Daniel holds the responsibility of being 4KBW Grievance Procedure Officer and attends as a tutor for Practitioner Evenings at The College of Law.
Before coming to the Bar, he was employed as a paralegal in Leeds for Alexander Cousins solicitors, where he managed the crown court section of the firm. He worked on a number of serious violence, sexual offences, and large scale drug supply matters.
In his spare time, Daniel enjoys a wide variety of sporting activities, including football, rugby league, cricket and golf. He plays once a week in local league football and is a qualified referee. He also enjoys music and comedy.
